UPDATED (September 29th @ 7 pm) - The CSX railroad crossing on Ford Avenue will reopen tonight at 7:30 p.m. -- and will remain open tomorrow and throughout this weekend. Please use caution when driving because crews were not able to do the asphalt portion of the project before the rain came into the area and the surface will be rough.

Motorists will be able to access residences, businesses, and schools in the area up to the work zone, but traffic will not be allowed to cross the railroad tracks and work zone.
