Applying for Water Service

New residents may apply for water service online or in person at City Hall. If you wish to apply online, please email your completed application and a copy of your photo ID to utilitybilling@richmondhill-ga.gov, along with a copy of your lease (if applicable).

Your application fee can be paid via credit card over the phone by calling City Hall at 912-756-3345. You can also mail a check/money order made payable to City of Richmond Hill to us at City of Richmond Hill, PO Box 250, Richmond Hill, GA 31324. Please note, if we have not received your application fee within 10 business days the service will be disconnected.

Application Fees

  • Residential Service: $100 Administrative Fee with a photo ID
  • Commercial Service: $200 Administrative Fee
  • Temporary Service: $25 Administrative Fee with a Photo ID

Disconnecting Service

Residents may disconnect their water service online or in person at City Hall. If you wish to disconnect your service online, please email your completed disconnection request form and a copy of your photo ID to utilitybilling@richmondhill-ga.gov.

Transferring Service

Residents may transfer their water service online or in person at City Hall. If you wish to transfer your service online, please email your completed service transfer request form and a copy of your photo ID to utilitybilling@richmondhill-ga.gov.
