Historic Preservation Commission/Architectural Review Board Vacancy: Application Due January 21, 2022
The City of Richmond Hill is currently accepting applications to fill one board member vacancy on the Historic Preservation Commission/Architectural Review Board. Members are appointed for three-year terms. The meetings are held at 2:30 p.m. on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
The HPC/ARB consists of five members, appointed by the Mayor and Council, of whom all must be City residents and have a demonstrated interest in historic preservation. They have authority to review and act upon elements of proposed projects related to signs, and architectural design and materials, within the Historic Districts and Gateway Overlay District COA applications, signage applications, and provide recommendations on site development plans. For ease of operation, the members of the ARB and HPC are the same.
If you are interested in volunteering to serve on the commission, please complete the resume form, as well as a letter of interest, and email both to Amanda Styer, Zoning Administrator, at astyer@richmondhill-ga.gov. The application deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022. For more information, please call Amanda Styer at 912-756-3735.
