Atlantic Waste Services, Inc. is evaluating the roadways and areas that have experienced flooding to determine which areas are safe for their trucks to operate in.
The weight of the garbage trucks causes some areas to be inaccessible for collection even if they are passable by cars.
The following areas have been cleared to be collected tomorrow (Tuesday, August 13, 2024):
They are also offering free (household only) trash disposal at both Bryan County convenience centers this week, Monday, August 12- Friday, August 16, 2024.
