Governor Kemp Expands COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility

Yesterday, Governor Brian Kemp announced the next expansion of eligibility criteria for COVID-19 vaccination in Georgia. Beginning March 8th, eligibility will include everyone in the current phase, as well as:

  • All educators and school staff in pre-K through 12th grade
  • Educators and staff in early childcare centers
  • Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers
  • Parents of children with complex medical conditions

Later in the month of March, if vaccine supply remains stable and this current expansion is going well, eligibility will be expanded again to include more Georgians with severe underlying health conditions who are not yet 65 years of age.
