About the Event

Join us on April 16, 2021 for a movie in the park! Tickets are $10 and will be available for purchase beginning March 12, 2021 at 9:00 AM. Gates will open at 7:00 PM and parking is first come first serve. Please follow all posted signage for the event.

Our guests are required to remain in their vehicles for the duration of the feature, with the exception of using the restrooms or picking up food. You may sit in truck beds and have hatches open or topless vehicles. We recommend wearing a face covering if you do this but it is not required unless you leave your designated parking spot area. You are not allowed to sit next to your vehicle as we must maintain the large distance measures for parking.

Event Guidelines

  1. In order to hear the movie audio, vehicles will need a functioning FM radio.
  2. Masks are required for anyone outside their vehicle.
  3. You will assigned to a parking spot by an attendant. All parking assignments are final and cannot be altered. Once parked, you cannot leave until the event is over.
  4. No oversized vehicles are allowed, including multi-passenger full size vans, limos, RV, buses, mini buses, etc. Larger vehicles and raised trucks that may obstruct other patrons' view will be parked on the back row.
  5. The number of people in the vehicle most not exceed the number of seatbelts available.
  6. No drop-offs. All visitors must arrive by and remain in their vehicle for the duration of the event.
  7. Bathrooms are located at the Wetlands Center.
  8. No late entry will be allowed.
  9. Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
  10. Concessions will be available for purchase. When visiting concessions, you are required to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
  11. Headlights and exterior lighting must be off during the movie, NO EXCEPTIONS. Please research how to shut off your lights before arriving at the event.
  12. Sound is broadcast in FM only, apps do not work.
  13. PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF YOUR BATTERY. Staff will have jump kits available.
  14. Keep our park beautiful and properly dispose of trash. Don't throw it on the ground!
  15. No refunds will be given unless the event is cancelled or postponed by the City of Richmond Hill.

IMPORTANCE OF FOLLOWING THESE GUIDELINES-- It is our goal to provide a fun movie experience. It is absolutely vital that these social distancing guidelines be followed at all times. We will enforce these guidelines and we ask for your patience and understanding. Should any patron not follow our guidelines, they will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

COVID-19 Disclaimer

Any interaction with the general public poses an inherent risk of exposure due to COVID-19. People who show no symptoms can spread COVID-19 if they are infected. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. The CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable to severe illness from COVID-19. By participating in this event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

  1. When can I purchase tickets?
    1. Ticketing for the event will open March 12, 2021 at 9:00 AM. The cost is $20 per vehicle.
  2. What if it rains that day?
    1. Rain delays will be called by 4 PM the day of the event.
  3. What time does the gate open?
    1. Typically, the gate opens 1 hour prior to show time. With the pandemic, a majority of our parking spaces will be sold in advance with our ticketing app. If there are available spots, we will accept "day of" sales for the event beginning at 7:50 PM.
  4. Is there anything I can do if tickets are sold out online?
    1. We will allow a $10 CASH ONLY standby line on the day of the event. The standby line will open at 7:50 PM if there are any available spots.
  5. Can we sit on top of the car or do I need to bring chairs?
    1. Please do not sit on top of your car. It is dangerous and blocks other's view of the screen.
  6. Can I barbeque while we watch the movie?
    1. No. All patrons are required to remain in their vehicles.
  7. How much is it to get in?
    1.  Admission is $10 per vehicle. Tickets will only be sold in advance. On the day of the movie, any spots still available at 7:50 PM will be offered to those waiting in the $10 CASH ONLY standby line.
  8. Are the movie times only at night?
    1. We show the movies under the great big sky! So, we have to wait until after the sun goes down.
  9. How early should I arrive?
    1. Gates open an hour before show time.
  10. Can I request a specific parking spot?
    1. No. Attendants will assign parking spots based on traffic flow and vehicle size.
  11. How do we get sound to hear the movies?
    1. We have HD Digital FM Transmitters so you can hear the audio through your car stereo! If you are concerned that your car battery will run down, please bring a battery powered, portable FM radio. Apps on phones do now work unless it has a built-in FM antenna.
  12. Do I have to stay for the entire movie?
    1. Yes. For the safety of our staff and patrons, we cannot allow anyone to leave until after the movie is over. Please speak with a staff member if you have an emergency.
  13. Can I bring my own food?
    1. Yes, bringing in your own food is allowed. No sharing of food with other vehicles will be allowed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
  14. Can I bring a camper to the movie?
    1. No.
  15. My car does not have FM radio stations. What can I use to hear the movie?
    1. You can bring a portable stereo and get sound that way. All movie audio is fed through a digital HD FM transmitter.
  16. Can I bring my dog?
    1. No. We cannot guarantee the safety of your dog.
  17. Can I leave the theater to get food, etc.?
    1. No. Once you enter the theater area, you cannot re-enter.
  18. Can I have food delivered to the park during the movie?
    1. No. This will disturb other patrons.
  19. Can I leave an come back without being charged again?
    1. No. See question 9.
  20. What is there to do before the movie?
    1. Sit in your vehicle and socialize with those who arrived with you.
  21. Is alcohol allowed?
    1. No.
  22. If I have a van or SUV, am I allowed to back in and open my hatch?
    1. Yes, just make sure you stay in your designated parking area and immediate vicinity. If you leave the area, you must wear a mask and maintain social distancing. You must park where staff members direct you.
  23. Can I smoke?
    1. No, smoking is not permitted on the property except in your vehicle and only if it does not bother your neighbors. Do not throw your butts on the grounds, as it is a safety hazard to our staff. If you are observed doing this, you will be asked to leave without a refund.
