Notice of Property Tax Increase

The City of Richmond Hill has tentatively adopted a millage rate which will require an increase in property taxes by 1.37 percent.

All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on this tax increase to be held at Council Chambers on Tuesday August 4th at 11:30 am.  

There will be a public hearing on this tax increase at Council Chambers on August 4th, at 5:30 pm.   

This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 4.209 mills, an increase of .057 mills.  Without this tentative tax increase, the millage rate will be no more than 4.152 mills.  The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $225,000 is approximately $5.70, and the proposed tax increase for non-homestead property with a fair market value of $300,000 is approximately $6.84.
